International flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines towards the destinations of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, England and Thailand have been suspended.
The information was mentioned in a notice on the website of Biman on Sunday.
The notice said, flights towards the destination of Madinah, Kuwait and Bangkok have been suspended till May 31. Besides, London flight has been suspended till June 30.
International flight operation was suspended from April 14 due to coronavirus transmission situation in the country. But later considering the matter of visa expiration of the stranded expatriate workers permission was given for flights operation towards UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Singapore starting from April 17 through special flights. Permission was also given for special flights operation towards Kuwait and Bahrain from April 25. But regular flight operation has not been permitted yet.
