8 killed as 2 groups collide in Bandarban

8 people were killed in a clash between 2 groups at Rowangchhari Upazila in Bandarban, police said.

Rawangchari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Mannan told, "There was a shooting incident between 2 groups at Rowangchhari Upazila in Bandarban yesterday at around 8 pm. 

The bodies of 8 people were recovered at around 12:30 pm today."

The police officer said, "The dead bodies have been sent to Bandarban Sadar Hospital for post-mortem."
