Festive atmosphere prevailing across districts centring national polls

A festive atmosphere is prevailing across Bangladesh centring on the voting of the 12th parliamentary election.

The voting started at 8am on Sunday and will continue till 4pm. 

Voters were seen queuing up to cast their ballots since morning.

The number of voters increases as the day progresses. 

During a visit to several polling stations in different districts, it was seen that voters including elderly people were gathering braving foggy weather.
