3 of A Family Including a Child Burnt in Fire in Capital
Three members of a family, including a child, were burnt in a fire in Capital's Dhanmondi area. Their condition is critical. It is known that the fire was started by gas leakage.
The incident occurred at a house in Capital's Shukrabad Bazar area on Saturday (September 28) around 4 am.
The victims are Mohammad Toton (35), his wife Mst. Nipa Akhtar (30) and their son Md. Baizid (3).
Locals rescued them and admitted them to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Dr. resident doctor of the hospital. Md. Tariqul Islam said, 3 people of the same family, including a three-year-old child, are currently under treatment in the hospital due to burns. Father Md. 50 percent of Toton's body, 32 percent of mother Nipa's body, and 45 percent of child Baiji's body were burnt.
