Chief Adviser Orders Immediate Steps to Mitigate Ctg Waterlogging
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has directed the relevant authorities to take immediate action to address the waterlogging issue in Chattogram.
The directive was issued during a meeting of the Council of Advisers held today (January 9).
At a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam highlighted the outcomes of the meeting. He noted that waterlogging is a recurring issue in Chattogram, particularly during the monsoon season. The Chief Adviser emphasized the need for prompt and effective measures to resolve the problem.
The meeting also discussed the city's traffic congestion in detail. Alam assured that visible improvements in traffic management would be implemented in the coming days.
Adviser Mahfuj Alam, along with Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretaries Abul Kalam Azad Majumder and Apurba Jahangir attended the press briefing.
