3 Teenagers killed in Natore Truck-Motorbike Collision
Three teenage motorcyclists were killed in a truck-motorcycle collision in Lalpur, Natore. The accident occurred on Tuesday (January 21) at noon in the Sekchilan area of the upazila.
Lalpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC), Md Nuruzzaman, confirmed the details of the accident.
The victims have been identified as Shraban Majumder (18), son of Shree Shiben from Dhola Hindupara village; Swapan (19), son of Shree Ratan; and Bidhan Sarkar (18), son of Bishnu Sarkar from Sonaidanga village. The three were close friends.
According to local sources, the trio was heading to Dhola Hindupara on a motorcycle when a truck, travelling from the opposite direction, collided with them. Shraban and Bidhan were killed instantly, while Swapan, critically injured, succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
OC Md Nuruzzaman stated, "Two of the motorcyclists died on the spot, and the third passed away while being transported to the hospital. Police have visited the scene and are currently investigating the incident."
