The High Court has suspended the publication of the results of the Dhaka University (DU) 'C' unit admission test.
A High Court bench comprising Justice Fatema Nazib and Justice Shikdar Mahmudur Razi passed this order along with a rule on Wednesday (March 19).
Earlier, the DU 'C' unit admission test was held on February 8. After that, a candidate applied to the Vice-Chancellor requesting a re-examination for fair results as there were multiple errors in the question paper. However, as there was no response, he filed a writ petition in the High Court regarding the inactivity of the authorities.
The writ questioned the inactivity of the defendants in taking action on the writ petitioner's application to the authorities to cancel the examination due to errors in the question paper. At the same time, instructions were sought to dispose of the application given on February 20.
Besides, a stay order was sought on further proceedings until the disposal of this application.
