Golam Saqlain was involved in an immoral relationship with actress Pori Moni while he was in charge of ADC of Detective-Gulshan Division. Meanwhile, model and actress Peya Jannatul has brought serious allegations against Additional Superintendent of Police Golam Saqlain Shithil. 'This is the person (Golam Saqlain) who was in charge of my father's FR Tower case from DB,' she wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday (June 25).
'For about 6-7 days, my mother and I used to go to the DB office to see my father every day. This is the same person who fraudulently and forcibly tried to obtain father's consent for deposition under Section 164 of CrPC,' she said.
She also wrote that on the day he arrested her father as the owner of the land for the FR Tower fire, her father was so ill that he had to go to the hospital. 'Dad was over 77 at the time!,' she added.
Regarding this police officer, Peya said, 'According to me, this Saqlain is very sharp, talented and cunning. But one mistake ruined everything! Although we forgive people for their misdeeds, nature and the Almighty are always there to judge rightly.'
