Students are protesting demanding quota reform. The movement has spread across the country. In the meantime, there have been attacks on protesters in Dhaka University. Everyone is sharing their feelings and thoughts on social media. Siam Ahmed, the popular hero of Dhallywood, also expressed his deepest concern over bloody situation at Dhaka University.

Siam Ahmed wrote on his Facebook, 'Why is my campus bloody? Why do students bleed?'

Many people have expressed agreement with this hero's status.

University students have been protesting for two weeks demanding quota reform. In response to a question from a journalist at a press conference at Ganabhaban on Sunday afternoon, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, 'Why is there so much anger against the great liberation war and valiant freedom fighters? If the grandchildren of freedom fighters will not get quota, then will the grandsons of Razakars get quota? '

Protests began on the Dhaka University campus on Sunday (July 14) night surrounding the Prime Minister's statement. The students chanted, 'Who are you, who am I; Razakars, Razakars.'

As the news of the protests spread in Dhaka University, the protesters of BUET, Jagannath, Jahangirnagar, Rajshahi and Chittagong University also brought out processions with the same slogan at night. Later, they gave an ultimatum to the Prime Minister to withdraw her statement. Since then, government ministers, MPs and ruling party leaders have made various comments on the issue.

In this situation, Chhatra League activists attacked the demonstrating students of Dhaka University on Monday (July 15). There was a attcak and counter-attcak between the two sides throughout the day. More than 300 students were injured in the clash. Many of the injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Several were admitted.

According to sources, at least four people were killed in clashes in Dhaka, Chittagong and Rangpur.
