Artists of the country are worried about the situation created around the quota reform movement. They stand by the side of ordinary students. In continuation of this, the country's popular 4 band group Cryptic Fate, Arbovirus, Nemesis and Meghdol announced their decision to participate in Joy Bangla Concert. Their protest is in response to the violence and killings in the ongoing movement.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday (July 31) night, the country's popular band Cryptic Faith decided to pull out of performing at the Joy Bangla concert. A little later, another band, Abrovirus, made the same sound on social media at midnight. In a Facebook post, they said, the Abrovirus team will never perform at the Joy Bangla concert again.

Similarly, the band Nemesis has announced to boycott the concert. In a Facebook post on Thursday (August 1), Nemesis said that the band is withdrawing from the decision to perform at the Joy Bangla concert in the context of various events that have happened in the country in the last two weeks. In the words of Nemesis, 'We will never perform at Joy Bangla Concert again.'

Nemesis wrote at the end of the long post, 'The current generation is showing us that if we muster the courage, we can all speak up, have the courage to say wrong wrong.' Because we all want to see a clean society and build a culture of truth. So talking cannot be stopped, seeing injustice cannot be stopped. You are doing it, we are doing it, many more people will do it. It may take time, but everyone is waking up.

On the other hand, another popular band of the country, Meghdol, announced their position not to perform at the Joy Bangla concert on Thursday (August 1) at noon.

In a Facebook post, they wrote, out of respect for the sentiments of our youth, they have decided not to participate in the Joy Bangla concert. We will look forward to the country's political stability; There is nothing else we can do at the moment. Through this message, we reiterate our support to the people's demand. We want justice for every murder.

Incidentally, bands like Cryptic Fate, Arbovirus and Nemesis are at the top of the country's music audience favourites. With the attraction of these three bands, a large number of listeners gather at the Joy Bangla concerts organized in different years.

However, apart from these four band groups, due to the ongoing situation, several other musicians have reported withdrawing from performing at the Joy Bangla concert. Among them are singer Sina Hasan and members of Popeye Bangladesh.
