Shafiq Tuhin's song about Abu Sayed

Popular lyricist, composer and musician Shafiq Tuhin made a song about Abu Sayed, a student of English Department of Begum Rokeya University, who was shot dead by police during quota reform movement.

Who can stand fearlessly with his wide chest/ What's the fear of his? Shafiq Tuhin himself has sung the lyrics and composed the lyrics. Music composed by Kishor Das.

Shafiq Tuhin said about the song titled 'Bijoyer Golpo', Abu Sayed's silent and fearless martyrdom has shaken every person in the world. Due to his death, this movement has spread among every people of the country.

He also said that this victory, the first martyr of this victory, Bir Shreshtha Abu Sayed, has given us a new Bangladesh. We are forever indebted to him.

Finally, this lyricist-composer-musician said, I pay my respects and salutations to every martyr of this struggle including Abu Sayed.

The song was released on Shafiq Tuhin's official YouTube channel on Thursday (August 8).
