The 81st annual Venice International Film Festival kicked off with a bang on Wednesday. Apart from the star-studded screening of Tim Burton's Beetlejuice sequel 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice', the festival saw many impeccably dressed celebs on the red carpet during the opening ceremony. From Jenna Ortega, Amy Jackson, Cate Blanchett, Winona Ryder, and Taylor Russell to Catherine O'Hara, here are the best red carpet looks from the Venice Film Festival (Reuters).

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast member Jenna Ortega poses on the red carpet during the film's screening at the 81st Venice Film Festival. She wore a custom Dior gown inspired by Winona's character Lydia's wedding dress from the original movie. She wore the tulle red dress featuring side cut-outs, a backless design, and spaghetti straps. A choker necklace, rings, bracelets, a messy hairdo, smoky red eyes, and bold red lips completed the look.

Winona Ryder wore a custom Chanel gown to the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice screening. The ensemble is inspired by a look from 2007. Amy Jackson attended Day 1 of the Venice Film Festival in an Alberta Ferretti gown. She chose an off-shoulder dress featuring a tulle wrap around the bust, shimmering diamantes on the front, a corset bodice, and a see-through skirt.
