Actress Mehazabien Chowdhury and director Adnan Al Rajeev began a new chapter of their lives together on February 14, 2025, after tying the knot in a private wedding ceremony.
While Mehazabien had kept her marriage under wraps, leaked photos from her Gaye Holud (pre-wedding) celebration recently surfaced. The event, held near Dhaka, was meant to be intimate, with strict instructions given to guests to avoid taking or sharing photos on social media. Despite these precautions, some images from the ceremony were leaked and spread within her close circles.
Amid the buzz surrounding their wedding, Mehazabien decided to share a series of photos on her Facebook page, which quickly went viral. Within two hours, the post garnered nearly 300,000 reactions and over 8,000 shares.
In her post, Mehazabien shared a heartfelt message, "On April 9, 2012, a boy with crooked teeth and a beautiful smile came to meet me. I was standing on the balcony of a shooting house when he waved at me from the street. We talked for just 15 minutes, but as soon as he left, I felt like a piece of my heart went with him."
She continued, "Thirteen years later, here we are, growing together, celebrating every ups and overcoming every downs. They say that seven years of friendship lasts a lifetime, and we've almost doubled that."
"On February 14, 2025, we bound our hearts together forever, promising to walk this journey hand in hand. Adnan Al Rajeev, I've chosen you as my best friend for life. As we begin this new chapter, we ask for your love and prayers for lifelong happiness and togetherness."
The couple's relationship had been public since 2019 after a viral video showed them walking hand-in-hand in a Dhaka shopping mall. Though their romance had been widely speculated, neither Mehazabien nor Rajeev had publicly addressed it before that moment.
Mehazabien first entered the media scene in 2009 as a contestant on a reality show. Since then, she has expanded her career beyond TV dramas, making her mark in films and on OTT platforms. Her latest film Priyo Maloti was released last month, and her new web film Nil Sukhe premiered on Valentine's Day.
Adnan Al Rajeev, known for his work as one of the country's top ad directors, is a prominent figure in the media industry.
