An arrest warrant has been issued against Bollywood actress Malaika Arora in connection with a case dating back thirteen years. In 2012, she was called to testify as a witness in a case, but she failed to appear. As a result, the magistrate court in Mumbai has issued a bailable arrest warrant against her.
According to reports, the case involves an assault on NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma at a luxury hotel in Colaba, Mumbai. The accused in the incident include actor Saif Ali Khan, businessman Bilal Amrohi, and Malaika's brother-in-law, Sahil Ladakh.
The incident occurred on February 22, 2012, when Saif and his friends, including Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, and others, were dining at a five-star restaurant in South Mumbai. A dispute broke out between Saif and Iqbal Sharma, a South African national, which quickly escalated.
The case has now resurfaced in court, and last Saturday, Amrita Arora provided her testimony as a witness in the matter.
