Great Martyrs’ Day and silver jubilee of the International Mother Language Day was observed in Kathmandu with due solemnity.
On this occasion, the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu organized different programs on 21st and 22nd February 2025.
The first day of observance included hoisting of national flag, probhat feri followed by laying of floral wreaths, discussions on the significance of the day, reading out messages by dignitaries and screening of video documentary sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy, Mohammad Humayun Kabir addressed the guests from different organizations including Bangladesh Club, Bangladesh Biman, and SAARC Secretariat.
On the second day of observance, the Mission organized an art camp for the children.
Nepalese children and Bangladeshi children staying in Nepal participated the art camp. All the officials and staffs of the Embassy and their family members attended the observance.
