Jammu and Kashmir leader appeals for strengthening brotherhood

Indian administrated Jammu and Kashmir’s Workers Party chief Mir Junaid recently participated in a cultural festival organized by the Indian Ministry of Cultural Affairs, in Langate where he said that his home town is an epitome of peace, communal harmony, and cultural and religious diversity.

Mir congratulated the people of Langate for maintaining brotherhood and amity and said that this atmosphere of tolerance is a prerequisite for the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

He further added that such festivals are like a beautiful carnival of syncretic culture that Kashmir is known for.

He also stressed that preserving the rich culture is the moral and ethical duty of every Kashmiri.

Mir also interacted with the people of Langate on the occasion.

He listened to the grievances of the general public and took stock of the basic amenities and the underdevelopment left by dynasty parties in Jammu & Kashmir.

Mir promised that a new dawn is just around the corner and in this new dawn of democratic politics, youth who have risen from the grassroots will lead from the front.

 

Mir Junaid was on two-days visit to Langate area where he met the locals, listened to their grievances, and visited many places for overall developmental programs of the area.
