Victims of enforced disappearances and their families have submitted 100 complaints to the International Crimes Tribunal. These disappearances allegedly occurred between 2009 and 2024 under the Awami League government. Out of the individuals who went missing, 95 have not yet been returned to their families.
On Tuesday (February 25), the complaints were officially handed over to the prosecution of the International Crimes Tribunal by the organization "Mayer Dak," which represents the affected families.
The organization filed 100 complaints, including cases related to BNP leader Chowdhury Alam and BNP leader Sazidul Islam Suman from Tejgaon.
In connection with these disappearances, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's security advisor Tarek Siddiqi, former IGP Benazir Ahmed, and 60 senior officials from RAB, police, DB, and CTTC have been named as defendants.
This information was confirmed by Mayer Dak's lawyer Shishir Monir and the organization's coordinator Sanjida Islam Tuli.
