The Dhaka University administration has expelled 15 students over digital fraudulence and admission test question paper leakage.
The decision was taken at the syndicate meeting on Tuesday night.
Among the expelled students, Navid Anjum Tanay- third year student of Geography and Environment department, Mahiuddin Rana-fourth year student of Physics department and Abdullah Al Mamun- second year student of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering were acting as the mastermind of the fraudulence racket.
The first year students who were also expelled from the university are, Nahid Iftekhar of Political Science department, Md. Azizul Hakim of World Religion and Culture department, Bayezid of Psychology department, Prosenjith Das of Sangskrit department, Fardin Ahmed Sabbir of Health Economics department, Rifat Hossain and Tanvir Ahmed Mallik of Economics department, Rafsan Karim of Islamic Studies department, Akhinur Rahman Anik of Bangla department, TM Tanvir Hasnain of history department, Munsi Sujaur Rahman of Education and Research department and Nazmul Hasan Nayeem of Pali and Buddhist Studies department.
