Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "Through militancy and corruption, BNP has destroyed the country's image. Economic recession is going on around the world. We have to pay special attention to production. Product exports should be increased."
On Monday, May 15, Prime Minister made this statement at the certification ceremony of law and administration course at Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy, Shahbagh.
Referring to the ongoing economic recession around the world, Sheikh Hasina said, "We have to pay special attention to domestic production. Along with that, export products should be increased. After 1975, power shifts began through assassinations, coups and conspiracies.
People did not have the right to vote in this country. Awami League formed the government in 1996 after 21 years. At that time, the condition of the country was very poor. Our reserves were also very low. In such a situation, we take the country forward by forming the government.”
