Morshed Alam is nominated for Noakhali-2

Alhaj Morshed Alam has been nominated by Awami League for the Noakhali-2 (Senbagh-Sonaimuri) seat in the upcoming 12th National Assembly Elections. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced this list of nominations on Sunday (November 26) afternoon.

Morshed Alam said, I have been elected member of parliament twice. With the help of the Prime Minister, we have made extensive development in Senbagh. From roads, bridges and culverts to Senbagh, we have maintained law and order along with drug control.

He also said that in the last 10 years there has been no murder, riot or commotion in Senbagh. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has trusted me this time as well. If I become a member of Parliament, I will complete the unfinished works in Senbagh.

It should be noted that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal announced the schedule of the 12th National Assembly elections on the evening of November 15. According to the schedule, the voting for the 12th National Assembly elections will be held on January 7, 2024.

Apart from this, the last date for submission of nomination papers is 30 November, scrutiny of nomination papers is from 1 to 4 December, appeal and disposal against cancellation of nomination is from 6 to 15 December, last date for withdrawal of candidature is 17 December, allotment of symbols is 18 December and election campaign is from 18 December to 5 January. EC said it will continue.
