Bangladesh defeated Ireland by 22 runs (DLS method) in the first T20 of the three match series in Chattogram. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 207 runs in 19.2 overs.
From the very beginning of the bangladesh batting innings, the two Bangladeshi openers Litton Das and Rony Talukdar started batting aggressively.
Litton Das punched Harry Tector for a six on the fourth ball of the innings. Starting from this, he kept the wheels of the run by hitting one boundary after another.

In that over, Taskin dismissed three Irish batters and took the match in the favor of Bangladesh. After that, two batter Harry Tector and Gareth Delany tried a bit but could not reach the goal.
Finally, at the end of 8 overs, Lorcan Tucker scored the maximum 19 runs for Ireland.
Taskin Ahmed took the maximum 4 wickets for Bangladesh. Pacer Craig Young got the most 2 wickets for the Irish.
