Copa America quarter-finals match schedule

The Copa America 2024 group stage ended with a lot of drama. and eight teams have advanced to the knockout stages of the tournament.
Brazil played out an action-packed 1-1 draw with Colombia in California on Wednesday (July 3) to set up a mouth-watering Copa America quarter-final against Uruguay. Colombia finished top of Group D on seven points and will face Panama in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Colombia, who defeated Brazil to become group champions, got relatively easy opponents Panama in the quarter-finals, who lost to Uruguay 3-1 in the group stage. Both quarter-final matches will be played on July 7.
On the other hand, Argentina has confirmed the quarter-finals by winning three matches in the group stage. The champions will fight against Ecuador on July 5. Venezuela-Canada will play the match of the quarter-finals on July 6 at Arlington.

Embassy Cup Cricket Carnival 2024 Kicks Off in Dhaka
The first ever 'Embassy Cricket Carnival-2024' rolls on 7 June, Friday at the Bashundhara Sporting Complex.
The two-day long cricket bonanza is being organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in association with Gameplay Ltd.
Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh Ambassador Masud Bin Momen inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest in presence of the officials from participating resident missions in Dhaka.
The tournament features 16 teams from various International Organizations and Foreign Embassies and High Commissions competing in a friendly cricket tournament. This exciting event serves as a platform for fostering camaraderie and building stronger relationships between the diplomatic community and international organizations in Bangladesh. While the T20 World cup is being held at the West Indies and the USA, this event celebrates the cricket craze in Dhaka.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs always supports sporting initiatives and appreciates organizations like GamePlay Ltd. for coming up with events like this", said Foreign Secretary Momen.
He mentioned that this event is being organized after four successful seasons of the 'Embassy Football Fest' patroned by the Foreign Ministry.
The opening ceremony was followed by group stage matches, leading to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the grand finale on the second day.
Team MoFA won all three group matches and qualified for the quarter finals as group champion.
Embassy Cricket Carnival is expected to generate enthusiasm for cricket while also promoting cultural exchange and sportsmanship in the diplomatic community and beyond.

Netizens have threatened to boycott Coca-Cola as well as boycott the actors. Starting from different groups, many people have called for boycott by posting on their Facebook ID.
