Razia Sultana, a member of the Bangladesh women's football team, died of birth complications in March. Four months later, another footballer Mithila Akhter passed away.

Mithila had been suffering from liver and respiratory complications for a long time. She left the world on Sunday (July 7). She was only 23 years old.

Mithila was not a regular player of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) women's camp. According to BFF, Mithila has played in Bangladesh Under-14 and 16 teams. Although playing in two age-based terms, BFF does not have specific information about which tournaments Mithila participated.

On the other hand, Razia was a member of the Bangladesh SAFF Under-18 champion team. She was also in the BFF camp. She was later dropped from the camp due to deteriorating performance. But then she played in the women's league. Recently, the life of this female footballer ended due to labor pain.

Women footballers do not get much facilities outside the BFF residential camp. They spend their days in difficulty. Many people are leaving the world due to disease complications.

BFF can not keep track of players outside the camp due to financial and various constraints. There is no proper treatment for the athletes from the Sports Ministry.

President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Md. Saladin expressed his condolences. The federation extends its deepest condolences to Mithila's family.
