After the defeat against India, Bangladesh batter Towhid Hridoy made no excuses and took full responsibility for the team’s failure. He pointed to poor performances in batting, bowling, and fielding as the reasons for the series loss. However, Hridoy remains optimistic about the team’s potential to improve.

Bangladesh started playing T20 cricket in 2006, but even after 18 years, the Tigers continue to struggle in the format. Following their Test series loss, the team’s poor performance in T20 matches against India was complete. Whether in batting, bowling, or fielding, Najmul Hossain Shanto's side couldn’t match their opponents. Hridoy candidly admitted the shortcomings.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Hridoy said, "It wasn’t just our bowling; our batting was also poor throughout the series. We need to improve in all areas—batting, bowling, and fielding. India batted really well today, and we could have bowled better. There were moments where we could have executed our plans more effectively, but we didn’t. Hopefully, we will learn from this experience."

India completely dominated Bangladesh throughout the T20 series, winning each match by significant margins. The final match saw Bangladesh's bowlers falter so badly that India posted their highest-ever T20 score, leading to a crushing 133-run defeat.

Hridoy took full accountability for the loss and admitted the team struggled to read the pitch. "Most of us couldn’t read the wicket properly," he said. "We are used to playing in Mirpur, and when we move to Chattogram, it’s hard to predict how the pitch will behave. It’s tough for us to adapt to different wickets each time. But if we continue to play on good surfaces, we’ll slowly improve—though not overnight. We’ll progress step by step, Inshallah."
