Bangladesh women's cricket team faced a defeat in the third and final T20 match against Ireland women, resulting in a series of whitewash. Chasing an easy target of 124 runs, the Irish women secured a 4-wicket victory.

Having already clinched the series, Ireland played calmly from the start. Openers Amy Hunter and captain Gaby Lewis built a strong foundation, scoring 47 runs in the powerplay without losing a wicket. The duo steadily increased the score untroubled by Bangladesh's bowlers.

The partnership was finally broken by Jannatul Ferdous, who dismissed Amy Hunter at a team score of 55. Shortly after, Gaby Lewis was sent back by Rabeya Khan for 21 runs. In the 10th over, Leah Paul fell to a run-out, and Orla Prendergast became Rabeya's second victim.

Laura Delany and Rebecca Stokell took the score past 100 with a steady partnership. However, Rebecca was bowled by Nahida Akter. Despite this, Ireland achieved victory with one ball to spare, with Laura Delany holding her ground.

Earlier, after losing the toss, Bangladesh opted to bat first at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Openers Murshida Khatun and Sobhana Mostary started the innings, but Ireland's disciplined fielding and sharp pace attack kept the Bangladeshi batters under pressure.

Murshida Khatun was dismissed by Prendergast for 33 runs. Sharmin Akhter, coming in at one-down, tried to stabilize the innings alongside Sobhana Mostary. The partnership was broken at a team score of 104, with Sharmin departing for 34 runs off Maguire's bowling. Soon after, Sobhana scored 45 runs before falling to the same bowler.

No other batter managed to reach double digits. The Tigresses concluded their innings at 123 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Irish pacer Prendergast claimed four wickets, while Maguire took two.
