DU Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal has got appointment as the 29th Vice-Chancellor of the University.

Education Ministry issued a notification on Sunday said, Maksud Kamal, professor of Disaster Science and Climate Resilience Department has been temporarily appointed as the next Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University.
The Chancellor of Dhaka University, President Mohammed Shahabuddin, gave him the appointment.

He will take the charge from November 4.
He served as the Pro Vice Chancellor (academic) of the university since 2020.
Besides Dhaka University, he has been contributing as a member of Senate, Syndicate and Academic Council of various universities.
