BNP’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, the speech that Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader delivered on army deployment during election is ill motivated.

Rizvi said this at a press conference at party central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Friday.

Rizvi said, earlier Obaidul Quader said that executive division is obliged to deploy army if election commission wants. But leaders like him used to say that will not be given for the long period. But currently their speeches are not well accepted by the people.

He said, what they say today will say reverse on the following day. What they say are ill motivated. We have to wait for that whether the current speech is ill motivated or not.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, the government is making the situation complex regarding treatment of Khaleda Zia. She needs to be permitted to receive treatment at United Hospital without any delay. She was kept confined in the jail though people of the country expected that she would be released before Eid.
