Four people were killed as a pickup and a CNG run auto-rickshaw collided in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail on Sunday (Feb 18).

The accident occurred at around 4:30 pm on the Gorhai-Sakhipur road in the Telipara area of Mirzapur upazila. Three of the deceased were male and one was female passengers.
Officer in-charge of Bansoil police outpost, Humayun Kabir, confirmed the matter. He said that the pickup van coming from Sokhipur crashed the CNG leaving them dead on the spot. All of the deceased persons were the passengers of the CNG.
