This information was given in a notification signed by Meteorologist Md Bazlur Rashid on Monday (April 22).
The ongoing heat wave over the country may continue for another 72 hours. Due to the excess of water vapor in the air, the discomfort of public life may increase, according to some sources.
Earlier, on April 19, a three-day heat alert was issued for the first time due to the severe heatwave.
Meanwhile, a very severe heatwave is sweeping over Pabna and Chuadanga districts in the next. Severe heatwave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Tangail, Jashore and Kushtia districts. Mild to moderate heatwave is sweeping over Dhaka, Khulna and Rangpur divisions,
Mild to moderate heatwave is sweeping over Mymensingh and Barishal divisions and it may continue.
