All ancillary works of the Padma multi-purpose bridge construction project were completed on June 30. As a result, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina appeared on the stage of the program as the chief guest to announce its official end.

On Friday (July 5) at 3:53 pm, she joined at the event venue organized by the Bridge Department. The bridge department organized this closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony and reconciliation rally have been organized in the field adjacent to Padma Bridge's North Police Station. The Inauguration of Padma Bridge and Rail Link Project ceremony was held in this same ground.

Earlier, the guests started arriving at the venue at 3 pm.

It is known that two and a half thousand people will participate in the rally on the occasion of the official completion of the Padma Bridge project. In addition to the guests of various levels, there will be project-related people.

Meanwhile, Munshiganj District Commissioner Abu Jafor Ripon told the media that there will be maximum security and complete preparations to welcome the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has expressed her desire to come to the Mawa area of ​​the Padma Bridge project on the afternoon of July 5. The prime minister will come to celebrate the completion of the Padma Bridge project. A congratulatory gathering will be held with the guests of different levels who have participated in the work of this bridge at different times. The Prime Minister has expressed her desire to listen to those concerned.

Abu Jafor Ripon also said that a coordination meeting has already been held with the participation of the district administration and all departments. All necessary steps have been taken to receive the Prime Minister.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of the Padma Bridge at Mawa in 2001.
