Abul Kalam Sohail, Deputy Secretary of Feni Municipal Jubo League, was arrested by RAB along with Marijuana. He was later expelled from the organization.

The matter was informed in a circular signed by District Awami Jubo League Secretary Nizam Uddin Patwari on Monday (July 15).

It is mentioned in the circular that Abul Kalam Sohail, Deputy Publicity Secretary of Feni Municipal Jubo League, has been dismissed from the party post and expelled from the organization for violating party discipline.

The arrested Sohel is the son of Abul Bashar from Char Gopalgaon village of Sonagazi upazila of Feni. His accomplice is Abdul Matin (42), son of deceased Nurul Alam of Char Parbatipur village of Companiganj upazila of Noakhali district.

Earlier on July 13, RAB arrested Sohel and one of his accomplices from Bhatiapara roundabout bus stand area of ​​Kashiani police station in Gopalganj district. At that time, 19 kg 200 grams of marijuana and a microbus were seized from them.

According to RAB-6 sources, RAB conducted the operation on the basis of secret information that drugs will be sold in front of passenger camp of Bhatiapara Roundabout Bus Stand of Kashiani Upazila in a microbus. Sensing the presence of RAB in the operation, Sohail and Matin were arrested with 19 kg and 200 grams of Marijuana.

while trying to escape with the microbus. Later, they were handed over to Kotalipara police station after filing a case under Narcotics Control Act.

In this regard, General Secretary of Awami Jubo League of Feni town Iqbal Hossain Bablu said, "The organization will not take the responsibility of any person's crime." There is no opportunity to engage in unethical activities in the organization. He has been expelled from the organization for his involvement in anti-disciplinary activities of the party.

Confirming the truth, Gopalganj's Kotalipara police station OC Muhammad Feroz Alam said, 'Both of them have been sent to jail through the court.'
