Dhaka College, Eden Women's College, Dhanmondi Ideal College, Dhaka City College, Bir Shrestha Munsi Abdur Rauf College, Bir Shrestha Noor Mohammad Public College, and other nearby institutions participated in the mass rally.

At that time, the students kept chanting slogans like, 'Jalo jalo agun jalo, Shoiracharer godite agun jalo eksathe. Diyechi to rokto, Aro debo rokto, Rokter bonnay veshe jabe onnay.'
