Coordinators want Dr. Yunus to be Chief Adviser in Interim Government
The coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement outlined the formation of an interim government with Nobel laureate professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus as the chief adviser.
They announced this in a video message on Facebook after 4 am on Tuesday (August 6).
Coordinator Nahid Islam said in a video message that we took 24 hours to outline the formation of the interim government. But considering the urgent situation, I am announcing the outline now.
He said we decided Dr. Muhammad Yunus as chief adviser of the interim government. It will be formed with a student-citizen coup. We have spoken to him, he has agreed to take responsibility.
He further said an interim government should be formed with Dr. Muhammad Yunus as the chief adviser. We will also announce the names of the remaining members of the interim government in the morning.
