All hospitals provides full service from Wednesday

Doctors have said that the medical services will continue as per normal schedule from tomorrow Wednesday (September 04) in country's all hospitals.

Abdul Ahad, DMCH's resident physician, gave this information on Tuesday (September 3) morning.

Meanwhile, after being closed for two days, the outdoor of Dhaka Medical College Hospital has resumed normal services from 10 am today. Earlier, the doctors' stay program lasted for two hours from 8 am to 10 am.

The first incident started around the death of Ahsanul Islam Dipto, a student of Bangladesh University of Business Technology (BUBT). Complaining that he died due to the negligence of doctor, the students of his campus entered the operation theater in DMC and beat up the doctors. Neurosurgery department doctors Imran, Mashrafe, and Zubair were injured.

On the same day night, one was killed in an attack by sharp weapons inside the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Army arrested four persons including weapons using this incident.

On the other hand, one patient died while being admitted at night. In this incident, the patient's relatives assaulted the doctor. Later in the night, a protest march was held at the hospital, the intern doctors became agitated.

The intern doctors of Dhaka Medical College Hospital went on a strike demanding the arrest of attackers and ensuring their security. They also announced a strike across the country. Hundreds of patients suffered due to doctors' strike.
