When asked about the discussion with the US delegation, Foreign Secretary Md. Jashim Uddin said that the US delegation is coming to Dhaka after the interim government took over. This is a great reflection of the importance that the United States attaches to the relationship with Bangladesh.

The discussion will focus on the strengthening of relations with Bangladesh after the change of political status. Apart from this, Washington will want to know the needs of Bangladesh to overcome the current crisis so that Bangladesh can turn around.
