Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Mainul Hasan said, there is no opportunity to show any unprofessional behavior and laxity in the performance of police duties. Police should be polite in their behavior. In the performance of duty, one should show superiority in dress, presentation, service, and firmness.

He said these in the chief guest's speech at the exchange meeting with the policemen working in the diplomatic security department on Friday (September 13).

DMP Commissioner said the Diplomatic Security Department is a very important unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. It is your responsibility and duty to maintain law and order and provide security to diplomats in areas where foreign embassies and diplomats reside. You must act with the utmost professionalism in providing security and service to diplomats. No such unprofessional behavior can be done which tarnishes the image of the police in the country and abroad.

He said that in the prevailing situation, every member of Dhaka Metropolitan Police is trying to fulfill the duties assigned to them with professionalism by increasing morale. The police is an organized force governed by laws and regulations.
