Today marks the holy Eid Miladunnabi, a day of profound significance as it commemorates both the birth and passing of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Born on 12 Rabiul Awal in 570 AD in the city of Makkah, the Prophet lived for 63 years, devoting his life to the guidance and welfare of humanity. His legacy as the final and most revered messenger of Allah remains a beacon of peace and righteousness for all mankind.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his honesty, integrity, and compassion even before he received prophethood. His title of Al-Amin ("the trustworthy") reflects the deep respect he commanded from his community. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly for the betterment of humanity, spreading messages of equality, justice, and kindness. His dedication to the well-being of mankind solidified his place as a figure of great moral and spiritual authority.

At the time of the Prophet’s arrival, Arabia was mired in ignorance, superstition, and social injustice. Tribal conflicts, slavery, and oppression dominated society, leaving little hope for progress. However, the Prophet (PBUH) brought light to this darkness by leading people toward the path of goodness, justice, and knowledge. His influence transformed not only Arabia but set the foundation for an enlightened and compassionate way of life.

In honor of this sacred day, the Islamic Foundation has organized special events across the country. Various programs celebrating the life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) are being held to reflect on his message and its relevance in the modern world.
