Formation of Committee to Determine Age Limit in Govt Jobs

A committee headed by a former secretary has been formed to raise the age limit for entry into government service. The committee will advise within the next 7 working days.

In a briefing organized in the conference room of the Ministry of Public Administration at the Secretariat on Monday (September 30), Dr. Md. Mokhles ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration said this.

He said, 'This committee has been made because of the movement and demands regarding the age of entry into government service to 35. The committee will report on the age limit of 35 in government jobs within the next 7 days.

Meanwhile, the protestors have taken position in front of the residence of the interim government's chief adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. They want to meet with the chief adviser. They do not want to discuss this with anyone except the chief adviser. They have announced that they will continue the movement until they meet Dr. Yunus.
