Four, Including Sheikh Hasina's Former Advisor, Arrested

Kamal Naser Chowdhury, the former principal secretary and advisor to ex-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been arrested along with three others.

On the night of October 1, the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) arrested them from various locations in the capital.

The other three individuals are former Sports Secretary Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, former EXIM Bank Chairman Nazrul Islam Majumdar, and Bashundhara Group Coordinator Adnan.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the DMP's Media and Public Relations Department, Talebur Rahman, confirmed the arrests.

Talebur Rahman stated that Kamal Naser Chowdhury, former Youth and Sports Secretary Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, former EXIM Bank and BAB Chairman Nazrul Islam Majumdar, and Bashundhara Group Coordinator Adnan have been arrested.

He added, "Each of them has specific criminal charges and cases against them. Legal proceedings are underway."
