Nation-Building Opportunities Must Proceed Unitedly: Dr Yunus

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has said that the opportunity for nation-building must proceed jointly. He said, if this opportunity is lost, Bangladesh will be far behind.

The chief adviser of the interim government Muhammad Yunus said that the opportunity created for nation-building should be taken forward unitedly. He said, if this opportunity is lost, Bangladesh will be far behind.

Dr Yunus stated this at the formation ceremony of the Naval and Air Force Selection Board at Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday (October 27) morning.

He also urged everyone to forget their differences and work for the sake of the country.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, "Bangladesh's image in abroad has been brightened through the revolution of students. We have to move forward with it."

In the morning, through this ceremony, the council of the two forces was formed. The Chief Adviser hoped that the Navy and the Air Force would stand by the people with the same efficiency as always in this journey of the nation.

Expressing hope that the Navy and the Air Force will stand by the people with the same efficiency as always in this journey of the nation, he further said that the Navy and the Air Force have stood by the people in the crisis of the country.

He hoped that the people would get the same support as they had in the past. Therefore, he called on the board of directors to follow it properly to provide efficient leadership.

At this time, the chief adviser instructed the members of the selection board to emphasize the professional skills, leadership qualities, standards of discipline, and integrity of the officers in the promotion of the force.
