Shining buses will ply in capital by September: Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, shining public transport- buses will ply in the capital by September 30 next.

He said this in a press conference held at the ministry meeting room on Monday. Earlier an emergency meeting of road transport advisory council was held.

In the press conference Obaidul Quader said, most of the buses in the capital lose their colors. Owners have said that they will do beautification work for their buses by September 30. Even it was decided to stop the contract service.

Quader said, the earlier decision was to fix highest speed limit for highway vehicles 80 kilometers per hour. Now strict measures will be taken to implement the decision.
