CA Allowed Female Players to Present Their Problems in Written Form
The chief advisor of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus congratulated the Bangladesh women's football team for winning the SAFF Championship for the second time in a row. At this time, the female footballers highlighted their problems. The chief advisor allowed them to present their problems in written form.
Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan stated this while briefing the journalists after the reception at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday (November 02).
He said, "In the presence of the chief advisor, the problems of women footballers were discussed in detail. The Chief Adviser listened very patiently to the women footballers. The chief advisor allowed them to present their problems in written form. We will take necessary steps soon in this regard."
Earlier, the Chief Advisor to the Interim Government welcomed the women footballers at Guest House Jamuna at 11 am today.
Incidentally, Bangladesh beat hosts Nepal 2-1 in the SAFF Championship final on Wednesday (October 30) to win the title. Later they returned home on Thursday (October 31). Then they were taken in an open-top bus to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) building. There they were treated to a lavish reception.
