Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the interim government, has extended his congratulations to Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential election. This information was confirmed by the Chief Advisor's press wing on Wednesday, November 6.

In his congratulatory message, Dr. Yunus stated, "On behalf of the government and people of Bangladesh, I offer my heartfelt congratulations on your victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Your election to a second term as President reflects the resonance of your leadership and vision with the American people. I am confident that under your leadership, the United States will continue to thrive and inspire others worldwide."

Expressing eagerness to work with the Trump administration on sustainable development, Dr. Yunus said, "There is a long-standing history of friendship and cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States in areas of mutual interest. I look forward to strengthening our partnership and working together for continuous progress. I firmly believe our two friendly nations are moving forward to explore new avenues of collaboration."
