To maintain law and order, 191 platoons of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country, including the capital. This information was confirmed by the BGB headquarters on Sunday (November 10).

Since Sheikh Hasina was ousted from power in a student-led uprising on August 5, the Awami League has refrained from public programs. However, in observance of Noor Hossain Day, the party announced plans to gather and march at Zero Point in Gulistan at 3 p.m. today, as stated on their Facebook page.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has declared its intent to counter the Awami League's program. Under the banner of the "Platform to Resist Fascism," they plan to hold a "public assembly demanding the trial of the fallen authoritarian Awami League" at Zero Point in Gulistan at noon.
