Army Chief Calls for Readiness to Tackle 21st Century Challenges
The Chief of Army Staff, General Waqar-uz-Zaman, has called on members of the army to be ready to face the difficult challenges of the 21st century.
He made this call at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (November 13) while attending the annual commanders’ conference of the Corps of Signals at the Jessore Cantonment. The Signals Training Center and School in Jessore organized this conference.
During the conference, the Army Chief delivered the keynote address to the commanders of the Corps of Signals and other officers present.
He highlighted the proud heritage of the Corps of Signals and their contributions in the service of the nation.
He urged everyone to be prepared for the challenges of the 21st century by enhancing their capabilities through modern and relevant training. He discussed various topics including the technological development of the Corps, research, professional skill enhancement, and future planning.
Senior officials from Army Headquarters, commanders of all Signals Brigades, and unit commanders of the Signals Corps were present at the event.
Earlier, upon his arrival at the Signals Training Center and School, the Army Chief was warmly received.
