A tragic incident occurred during the premiere of the film Pushpa 2, where a woman lost her life in the crowd. Following a complaint lodged by the deceased's family, Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday (December 13) from his residence in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. However, he has been granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court.

Speaking to the media on Saturday (December 14) morning after his release from jail, Allu Arjun expressed his condolences, saying, "I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the entire incident. I have immense respect for the country's laws and promise to fully cooperate in the investigation of this unfortunate accident."

On the night of December 4, the premiere show of Pushpa 2 was held at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. A large crowd of fans began to gather outside the theatre. Police and security personnel struggled to control the situation, resorting to baton charges. During this commotion, actor Allu Arjun arrived at the scene, further intensifying the crowd's excitement to see him up close.

Amid the chaos, a woman named Revathi and her son Sri Tej were injured in a stampede. They were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared Revathi dead. On December 11, Revathi's husband filed a complaint regarding the incident, leading to the actor's arrest eight days later.

Meanwhile, the victim's husband, Bhaskar, has expressed his willingness to withdraw the case against Allu Arjun. Speaking to the media, he said, "I am ready to withdraw the case. I was not aware of Allu Arjun's arrest. He had no role in the tragic death of my wife during the stampede that day."
