BNP Submits Proposal on Public Administration Reform
The BNP has submitted a proposal to Dr Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, intending to bring "Timely and democratic reforms to Public Administration."
On Sunday (December 15), a team led by Ismail Zabiullah, a member of the BNP's Public Administration Reform Committee and an advisor to the party chairperson's advisory council, submitted the proposal.
Speaking to journalists, Ismail Zabiullah said, "The administration needs to be completely revamped. Changes must be made at all levels of the administration three months before every election. We have also mentioned the issue of creating a DC fit list."
He further noted that the proposal includes the transfer of employees who have been working in the same position or location for a long time and are forming syndicates.
Additionally, he mentioned that recommendations have been made to identify and take action against officials who have remained in hiding while benefiting from previous governments.
