Textbooks to Reach All Students by February: Press Secretary
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, announced that new textbooks will be distributed to everyone by February. The interim government is actively working to ensure timely delivery.
During a briefing at the Foreign Service Academy auditorium on Thursday (January 9), Shafiqul Alam shared the update.
He highlighted that under the Awami League's tenure, while a book festival was held on January 1, it often took three to four months for all students to receive their textbooks.
However, this year, the government is committed to completing the distribution by next month.
Looking ahead, Alam added that starting next year, all textbooks will be distributed nationwide on January 1.
The briefing was attended by Interim Government Adviser Mahfuz Alam, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar, Apurba Jahangir, Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahmed, and other officials.
