The uniforms of Police, RAB, and Ansar members are set to undergo changes, with the final decision likely to be made on Monday, December 20, during a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Law and Order.
Representatives from the Police, Ansar, and RAB, dressed in uniforms of different colours, have already participated in discussions. The selection and identification of the new uniforms are expected to take place during this session.
According to related sources, uniform models in colours such as Iron, Royal Blue, Deep Khaki, Deep Blue, and Olive were showcased at the meeting. The Advisory Committee has reportedly finalized distinct colors for the uniforms of the three forces.
The decision follows ongoing discussions about police reform, including uniform updates, which gained momentum after August 5. On August 11, Brigadier General (Retd.) M Sakhawat Hossain, a former advisor to the interim government, indicated that police uniforms and logos would be revised as part of these reforms.
