Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, change has come in the lifestyle of people throughout the country. Villages and towns have changed. Roads were developed. Managed farmers to take loans without deposit. They can open bank account with only ten taka. We have managed mobile phones for every household and to the hands of every people. Developed communication system. We have worked for development of roads, rail, maritime ports and airports. We want to make a developed and prosperous country by the year 2021.

She said these at a public gathering at Kanthalbari under Shibchar upazila in Madaripur after visiting the Padma Bridge on Sunday.

Sheikh Hasina said, we have sanctioned VGF cards for the people who are unable to do any type of work. 100 Special Economic Zones were created. To protect people from rain and river erosion 1200 crore taka project was initiated. We have taken mammoth dredging plan to protect people from river erosion. Not only to prevent river erosion, steps are taken so that cultivable land and crops are increased. We have ensured opportunities for people to income from abroad sitting at the homes.

She said, Zia rewarded the killers of Bangabandhu. Khaleda Zia and Tarique tried to kill me by the grenade attack in August 21. But they killed 22 leaders and activists of Awami League in the attack. The Joj Mia drama was plotted so that trial won’t take place. The repression that they originated in this area after 2001, is unspeakable.

About the newly formed alliance led by Dr. Kamal Hossain she said, the unity is formed with the people who steal money of orphans and do corruption. He claims that he always speaks against corruption but made unity with Jamaat-BNP who do terrorism. BNP is so much bankrupt that they have not a single person to become party chairman.

Urging people to vote for ‘boat’ Sheikh Hasina said, earlier no development was done in the country by BNP-Jamaat. They ruled through terrorism and corruption. Development happened to them not for the people. Fundamental rights of every people will be met. ‘Boat’ is the ultimate way of liberty. So for development you should make the symbol ‘boat’ victorious.
